Born in Tokio in 1974, Hiroshi Tsunoda is one of the most talented young designers in the actual Japanese scene.
The futuristic designs by Giorgetto Giugiaro and the American culture became a source of inspiration, taking him to study in Chicago where he got to know about the prestigious Rhode Island School. There he discovered his talent and definitive vocation and was able to develop it to finally create his own style.
Hiroshi Tsunoda creates elegant lines and is fascinated about working with organic and futuristic shapes and experimenting with all kind of materials to explore new fields.
Tsunoda´s designs have been featured in exhibitions like Designers Block in London and twice in I Saloni Milan during the Milan Design Week. He has been invited to a large number of conferences and events, like Design Act in Moscow, La Setmana del Disseny in Mallorca, The Formica Workshop in Miami, El Círculo de Bellas Artes and El DDI in Madrid or Talks between Creatives by Lladró in Valencia.

For the last couple of years he has been teaching and doing workshops at Elisava School of Design in Barcelona.
The approach of the designs is supervised by Tsunoda, who supports and also bears in mind how to finally realize the design projects from a practical point of view.
Hiroshi Tsunoda Design Studio (HTDS) has so far collaborated with companies like Montagatina, Cerabella, Manterol, Coordonné, Formica and Lladró.
The most distinctive quality of his products is simplicity. A basic object can be both creative, flexible and express sensations at the same time.
